An Evening with Michael Palin
'Forty Years Without A Proper Job'

Sunday 6th November 2005
Behind the scenes glimpses of a life spent looking for the right job. From memories of Monty Python; filming A Fish Called Wanda; working with Alan Bennett, Maggie Smith and three pigs, to his well known series of travel programmes, most recently in the splendour of the Himalaya, Michael Palin really has experienced the wonders of the world. For one night only we invite you to share some of those experiences with him.

Peter Cook A Post humorous Tribute

On 29th September 2002 the cream of British comedy congregated at the Princes of Wales Theatre in London's West End to pay tribute to Peter Cook.

The show provided a rare opportunity to see ex-Pythons Terry Jones and Michael Palin together again, and also featured a specially written performance by Adrian Edmondson and Rik Mayall, as well as appearances by Harry Enfield, Angus Deayton, Dom Joly, Jon Culshaw, David Baddiel, Clive Anderson, Griff Rhys Jones, Neil Innes and Josie Lawrence, many of whom recreated classic Cook sketches. The show was hosted by Sir David Frost and the event raised funds for the Peter Cook Foundation.
